Abstract : Now a day’s Medical image processing is the most challenging and emerging field An MRI scan can be used to examine almost any part of the body. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a type of scan that uses strong magnetic fields and radio waves to produce detailed images of the inside of the body. This paper describes strategy of detecting and extracting of brain tissues from by taking brain MRI scan images of the effected patient. MATLAB software is used to detect and extract the tissues of the MRI scan Images of the brain. Keywords- Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI),Brain tissue, MATLAB etc.,.
