Paper Title
Role of Artificial Intelligence in Predicting Natural Disasters

Abstract
Abstract - The impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in determining risks of wildfire was examined in this paper. With the increase in incidents of wildfire, there is a need to identify more efficient methods for responding to the events to minimize human and property loss. The traditional approach of relying on the assessment of the surveyors is not reliable. This paper presents AI-based technology such as DamageMap and imaging to be an effective strategy for obtaining a clear idea about the region that underwent forest fires. The images are developed with high resolution and advanced satellites help in finding the exact locations of the structures that suffered damage. This paper synthesizes secondary research by obtaining evidence provided by other studies on the effectiveness of AI in predicting damages after the wildfire. Data on recent fires is obtained from the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE). Six wildfires are evaluated for assessing the usefulness of DamageMap in recognizing threats and also the accuracy of the outcomes is evaluated in the case of Carr fire, Campfire and xDB database. AI is reliable because it identifies errors in imaging due to the presence of other buildings in a determined area of physical damage.
