Abstract
An Artificial Neural Network is an information processing system that has been developed as a generalization of the mathematical model of human cognition(faculty knowing). A neural network is a network of interconnected neurons, inspired from the studies of the biological nervous system. In other-words, the neural network functions in a way similar to the human brain. The function of a neural network is to produce an output pattern when presented with an input pattern. Neural Network is the study of networks consisting of nodes connected by adaptable weights, which store experimental knowledge from task examples through a process of learning. The nodes of the brain are adaptable; they acquire knowledge through changes in the node weights by being exposed to samples.
